With the World Series wrapped up, Paul and Justin get a chance to interview Mike Gallo. Mike is a former Houston Astro pitcher (2003-2006).

Mike was raised in the city of Long Beach where he was a standout athlete as a child and also in High School for the Millikan Rams. He was heavily recruited by colleges all over the nation and decided to stay local to play for a Division 1 power house Long Beach State, better known as the “Dirt Bags”. In college, Mike received a lot of positive exposure and was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 5th round in 1999 as a pitcher. He made his major league debut with the club in 2003 and played an integral role on the 2005 Astros team, who made it all the way to the World Series. In 2006, Mike played in the World Baseball Classic for team Italy. Mike hung up his career in baseball in 2009 and to this day is still involved in the sport. Mike is an instructor at baseball clinics helping kids and young adults improve their skills. On his free time, Mike likes to hang out with his wife of 18 years and his three beautiful kids.
