Despite what the history books might say, Christopher Columbus was a loaf and two bit ding dong who bit off way more than he could chew with his conquest to the East in 1492. The most persistent issue plaguing him throughout the year's journey would be the cursed ship Gallega, renamed Santa Maria, that would eventually sink, leaving him stranded and beginning the whirlpool Columbus' life would become, leading to his timely demise. Much like the Koor I Nor Diamond that we've covered in the past, or even James Dean's Little Bastard, the Santa Maria was seemingly cursed, causing death and pain well beyond her sinking off the coast of Haiti on Christmas Eve, 1492.
