From 1977 to 1981, a rash of sudden deaths affecting Hmong immigrants in the bay area had local doctors and the CDC stumped. Over those 5 years, 118 otherwise perfectly healthy men, with no underlying connection or ailment would die suddenly in their sleep. Was it the horrors of the war back home coming to them in their slumber? Was it the Baba Yaga causing them sleep paralysis and stealing their souls? Or was it mushroom spores? Well, it would go on to happen to several groups of men in Asia, all mysteriously dying the same unexplained death. Caleb and the Colonel discuss the possible cause, supernatural or plain old regular strange, on this special Halloween episode!
