It has been way too long since we have last put out a podcast, so we are very excited to share the news that the wait is over! Due to a myriad of reasons, we had to take an unintended hiatus, but rest assured that we are re-invigorated by our absence and we have our sights set on the holidays. Thanksgiving (and every day, really) is a time of family, reflection, sharing, and gratitude. It is a time to take a look at ourselves and truly be grateful for the opportunities we have to make a difference in the world. Not only with family and friends, but everyone who is a part of our day. Of course, traditionally, it is also about celebrating this thankfulness with the sharing of food and beverages, and that is where we are here to help. Over the next few episodes, we will be trying some things that we are hoping will pair well with Thanksgiving fare. First up, we have the Keller Estate La Cruz Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013. We picked this one to start with because Pinot Noir is the classic wine pairing for Turkey Day festivities. Of course there are many different styles and growing areas for Pinot which make for a variety of expressions of the grape, but most of them should do well as a complement to your holiday feast. What did we think? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below or join us live on Thursday nights to give us your feedback while we are live streaming on Twitch.
