We know there are only a few days left before Thanksgiving, and with that in mind we are happy to continue our series of episodes aimed at helping you find the right beverage to accompany the many foods we hope will be on your table. We started with the classic pairing of Pinot Noir last week and we now turn our attention to white wine, Chardonnay to be specific. Andrew mentioned that he was still hoping to find a delicious buttery Chardonnay and so Keith’s search began. It pretty much began and ended at Trader Joe’s, but that is beside the point. After some consultation with a co-worker and wine enthusiast the decision was made. The wine we will be trying on this episode is the 2017 Bogle Phantom Chardonnay. Bogle has done a Phantom Red blend for several years which consists of wines that have barrel aged for 24 months, but this is a newer addition to their lineup. This wine is aged in 100% French oak for 10 months and we are hoping that it will work well for Thanksgiving. What did we think? What do you think?
