With this week’s show, we are crossing international seas and multiple time zones to interview Great Britain National Team Manager Liam Carroll. What a terrific highlight of another loyal and proud member of the ABCA! Carroll helps organize an international group each year to navigate their way to our annual ABCA Convention and brings back with him so much value, new and strengthened networks and more knowledge to help accent their efforts to keep growing baseball in the United Kingdom. Inside this episode, we hear from Carroll about his unique journey as a coach, including attending his first ABCA Convention as a player who was reading the writing on the wall for his career. Plus, we explore the creativity inside modifying baseball to fit his teaching environments in England and also his students, who do not always have a solid background in the game. Also, building a national team brand and identity has its own challenges and Carroll offers us his approach to cutting to the core of his mission to lead, inspire and perform on the field as Great Britain Baseball looks to continue its growth on the world stage and on their home soil.
