Archives - Episode 69 - Grassroots Efforts to Grow the Game of Baseball

This week’s episode touches close to home for us as we highlight the ABCA’s new educational partnership with USA Baseball: the Baseball ACE Program. We invite Sean Campbell, USAB’s Senior Director of Sport Development plus our own ABCA Youth/High School Liaison Andrew Bartman, to open up a myriad of topics inside the combined efforts to grow baseball around the world and continue to help educate coaches and players about the game. Aspects of the Baseball ACE initiative are discussed including how more coaches can be involved with our ACE Community Clinics, plus details into the endless list of resources available through USA Baseball and the ABCA. We also open up and uncover some tremendous resources for coaches including various podcasts, websites and even social media handles that share great content. A clear mission with this show was to leave our listeners with tangible action items to bring back to their communities to heighten the awareness of their reach and ability to impact the growth of baseball. This is a pen and paper episode, packed with takeaways to collectively bring our listeners together to work toward a common goal – further baseball around the world.
