The Philadelphia Flyers welcome the Los Angeles Kings back to the Wells Fargo Center tonight. Currently, the Kings sit at 26-17-6, which is good for third in the Pacific Division. They entered this season as one of the more intriguing teams out of the Western Conference after having a good enough season last year, where they found their way back to the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. They are loaded with a good mix of young talent and veteran leadership, but can the Flyers' defense step up and shut down one of the West's best up-and-coming teams? Flyers are coming off a bit of a heartbreaking loss against the Winnipeg Jets, 5-3. After going down 3-0 early, the Flyers battled back and found a way to tie the game thanks to two PP goals by Kevin Hayes. A soft goal in the third ultimately led to the Flyers’ downfall, including an empty net goal for the Jets late in the third. The Kings could be a good matchup for the Flyers, as they do have a good amount of inexperience on their roster to go with some issues in the net for LA. Can the Flyers take advantage and sweep the Kings in the season series?
