This week, 8 with 8 brings you a fun and wide-ranging discussion with Joe Iacano, Superintendent of the Summit Educational Service Center (Summit ESC). Most of us know Joe as a supportive educational leader who has been in the field for more than 40 years of experience in education, and in a wide range of leadership roles. His current leadership role at Summit ESC affords a unique perspective across many types of districts, leadership styles, and local needs. In this interview, Joe shares his Learning through Leadership journey, including his thoughts on the biggest priority needs of the day, why it's important for new leaders to reflect on the "why" behind the actions of those they serve, and his rockstar hobby that helps him chill out and recharge.
