Most meetings suck because people don’t know how to run them well. There are a lot of fundamentals to a great meeting:
A meeting purpose / KPI
A good agenda
Meeting roles: A facilitator, timekeeper and “action grabber”
Prep ahead of time, etc

I cover all of these things in a separate video about how to run great meetings (and how we run our meetings at SPS). I even talk about how we run our meetings in Asana (this is a total gamechanger).

Today I want to talk about the missing piece in all of this: How to FACILITATE a great meeting as the meeting leader.

You can have all of the fundamentals of a great meeting, but without a great facilitator the meeting will be mediocre at best.

In this episode I lay out the blueprint for facilitating great meetings...whether you’ve led 100’s of meetings or you’re about to lead your first meeting.

I talk about how to make your meetings better week after week and why you should rotate meeting facilitators. (if you’re a leader or CEO running all of the meetings in your company you’re doing it wrong)
