I recently got an email from lady called Andrea who I didn’t know who told me she had come across the podcast whilst returning to the UK on a flight from Mallorca after taking part in the 23k version of the Galatzo Trail Mountain Race.

I'd never heard of the Galatzo Trail Mountain Race and to add to my intrigue Andrea said it was part of an Alphabet sequence she was running with her daughter and this after achieving her previous goal of running 50 races before turning 50.

Andrea also mentioned that at the end of the podcast she was listening to I was suggesting that people who had never been on a podcast before should get in touch and share their running story.

So in this 115th episode of the Running 44@60 podcast Andrea talks about her mountain adventure which is the letter G in her alphabet challenge and she talks about her 50 before 50 which started with a Santa Run and finished with the Canadian Rocky Mountains Trail Race.

Along the way her favourite was her first half marathon the Southampton Half Marathon was well as running the Copenhagen Half.

Next up in Andrea’s A to Z is the Hampton Court Half Marathon on Sunday March 26th

I mention the Cornwall Running Show at Heartlands in mid-Cornwall on Easter Saturday April 8th. Come and along and say hello and perhaps record a podcast snippet and you can be on this show. The next episode will be a piracy review of the Cornwall Running Show with organiser Tracy Waite.

Before then I'm planning to record on the run at the Exe to Axe and the weekend after the Running Show I'm tackling the massive ups and step downs of the KVK
