Hey, y'all - Joel here. I listened to last week's episode, which is a departure from the norm. When we first started releasing the podcast, I would listen every week. The podcast gives me a large amount of joy. It features some of the more positive times in my life, and some of the people I care most about. However, some of our more recent entries reminded me of some more stressful moments from the past year, as well as some failings. Nothing that ultimately has been negative, but just not a blissful joyride for Joel. That stressful arc culminated with the recording project, and now that that's over I'm reminded of the calm I had following its completion.

The entries from March 7th of last year have a lot of nostalgia for me. Not just because it was a fun time, but because it was the band's last live performance before COVID. The gig was fun, as all gigs are, but if any of us knew we wouldn't have had another gig for over a year, we wouldn't have taken it so lightly.
