Deana Puccio is a former Assistant District Attorney from New York City. She worked in the Sex Crimes/Special Victims Unit of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn. As a sex crimes prosecutor she worked on cases involving adult, teenage and child victims.
Married and the mother of three daughters living in London, she co-founded the organisation, The RAP Project, which is Raising Awareness and Prevention for teens and young adults in 2013. The initial vision was to address young women and raise awareness around personal safety issues. Now having worked in over 150 schools and spoken to over 40,000 young people, RAP has expanded to young men, parents and corporate employees, and now also addresses internet safety and body image issues.
She has appeared as an expert commentator on Sky News and has been featured with her Co-Founder in The Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine.
