Using AI tools to create new tracks from a digital copy of the US episode, “Blipverts,” these tracks were imported into a digital workstation, where we created 21 tracks of music and audio, straight from a show that was broadcast on ABC Television in 1987. Now you can get it, once you support us on Patreon!

That’s 22 Minutes of synthesizer jams and music by Cory Lerios, edited by Dick Bernstein and supervised by Richard Berres. This music has never been released in any practical format, and has only been available in the background of this broadcast. Listen, now, without that pesky dialog overtop!

But you also get!

2 Minutes of Bonus Material! Enjoy the original blipvert at for Zik Zak, and samples of Max Himself. All essential elements of the broadcast! Also available here!

And!

Max Headroom Ambience Recordings! We couldn’t eliminate the SFX from the music, and why would be want to! But when we could, we were able to create 23 minutes of “ambience,” of what it is like to hang out at Network 23, or in the boardroom… maybe even Bryce’s Lab! The sounds of Max Headroom for this episode of the US show were created by Gary Alexander, Tim Philben & Bill Theiderman (sound mixers), Clark Conrad, Brad Sherman & James Wolvington (sound editors), Ricard Corwin & Richard Taylor (supervising sound editor), Doug Grindstaff (sound manager), Joe Kenworth (production sound mixer) and Larry Tozzi (post sound coordinator).

So, if this sounds like something you would like, then, support us on Patreon, and get the Unofficial Soundtrack. patreon.com/austinrich. The music of the 21st Century.

In our next episode, we will be offering either some additional Maxis, or our promised conversation with Brian Frankish, the on-the-ground producer for the American version of the TV show. We’ve been sitting on this conversation for a while, and Brian was a delight to talk to. We’re very excited to let you hear what he has to saw about a life in Hollywood.
