Episode 18 - Kern Mattei - Mai Kai Restaurant

Aloha from Hawaii and all places in the South Pacific! We are thrilled to have FIU Hospitality Alumnus & second-generation general manager for the Fort Lauderdale Mai Kai, Kern Mattei. Kern told us that Mai Kai means “The Finest,” and when we started rum month, we knew we wanted to talk to the finest about Rum.  Of course, we reached out to Mai Kai because they have one of the oldest and best rum selections in South Florida.
