Main Business Issues:

Building a team is aligned with the mission and vision she had for her big goals

Dr. Joan’s Key Insights And Takeaways:

She was approaching team building as a strategy that needed fulfilling but historically wasn’t having the success she desired
Her teams would often start out “good” but something would happen to reveal they were in it for themselves rather than the team mission
This pattern in addition to a childhood wounding around a car crash had her apprehensive of conflict and drama
As a defense Dr. Joan realized that she had a narrative around needing perfectly healed humans as part of her team so as to maintain ‘peace’ and no drama
She was able to realize that the belief was causing friction from going forward and attracting the team she desired
