Marc Marling is back for part two of our conversation. In this episode Marc tells some stories from his corporate days that influence the way he gets to know others and the deep desire he has to really learn what people are all about. We also talk about our feelings when it comes to official titles and how comparison can easily suck the joy from the journey to achievement.

Marc has worked in the shipping industry for more than 20 years, first in freight brokering and forwarding, later as a maritime attorney and now handling day to day operational and business issues for Vanmarc.

Marc was previously the General Counsel at container carrier CMA CGM (America) and handled extensive terminal acquisition and development work for the Virginia Port Authority and others while working in private practice. Marc is a graduate of Widener University (1993) and Rutgers University School of Law (1997) and earned a Certificate in Chartering from SUNY Maritime College (Ft. Schyler) (1994).
