Confidence Hack #47: It takes 17 seconds for your body to overrule your mind!

How do I know this? 

Well, when I was training NBA players for 12+ years, I would always bring a stopwatch with me to the workouts. The reason was that I would hit start on the stopwatch when I felt the player did not want to train that day. (Believe it or not, even NBA stars don’t always like to work on their craft)  You can gain a lot of confidence in that alone!

17 seconds. That was the average time it took for the player to get through the ‘I don’t feel like it’ mindset and into the workout. That’s it, 17 seconds. That’s not that bad!

Gain a confidence boost today by taking out your phone’s stopwatch and timing what you despise doing today. I’ll be you after 17 seconds; it won’t be so hard.
