Alone, young, and full of potential. Naiveté. Discovering one’s own personality and purpose through a joyful, fun, playful, cooperative effort- rather than staying isolated. The importance of play and social interaction for contributing to society, versus the ineptitude and pointlessness that can flourish through self-centered childishness. Developing camaraderie and skilfully dealing with friends. Exchange and barter that  outperforms solo toil and energy depleting labor. The honesty of self-expression and the confidence inspired in others by revealing one's true depth of self, with all complicated facets of the personality disclosed through a lighthearted game. A limit of experience to the five senses, bound to the experimental, tactile work of the kindergarten sandbox- prerequisite to a more sophisticated understanding of the world.  A hive-mind or team building exercise. Creatively figuring out culture together, proto-ritual, developing meaning on the spot. Inheriting folk traditions as children and performing them with no to limited understanding of their significance. Provisional social structures that require coordinated effort to maintain. The desert, entropy, the laziness and indolence of a declining society. The last participants in once holy and glorious rites, now more shapeless and blurry.  Hope and nostalgia around childhood, the regret of squandered opportunity earlier in life. Fatalism or stoic understanding that all that grows and thrives will also grow old and die.
