On a summer evening in 1981, Buddy Conti, the owner of Kearns Drug, and a co-worker were closing up and getting ready to head home for the night when an armed robber came looking for cash and drugs. However, Buddy wouldn't make it home alive to his family that night. After a weak confession, several fingers pointed towards a known robber, and a questionable suicide, police abruptly closed the case after their only suspect died of natural causes, leaving Buddy's family with no answers - and no justice.
