Today, we spotlight two of our Duval County Public Schools Certified Athletic Trainers. Ashley Alvarez of Terry Parker High School and Blake Mace of Englewood High School. Both were a part of Project 17, a program to place certified athletic trainers in the Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville FL. Each brings their unique skill set and personality to provide the best of care for all of their student athletes in all sports. They will share their preparation and key points for dealing with the heat, concussions and those who are interested in becoming a certified athletic trainer
