74. Ringside Raine

In this episode of #YourStory, Mike speaks with ring announcer, interviewer, and TikTok sensation, "Ringisde" Raine Cruz!. From finding her passion for ring announcing in 2021 to being showcased on the grand stage at WWE SummerSlam in Las Vegas, Raine Cruz established herself as a YouTuber, portraying the heel manager role of Asuka. From then on, Raine has gone on to work with numerous professional wrestling companies, more particularly in the Orange County area with promotions such as OCCW and 3PWA. She also made a huge impact when she ring announced at Old Fashioned Wrestling at the iconic venue Don Quixote in Los Angeles.

Her biggest accomplishment thus far was when she won the WWE TikTok Ring Announcer contest and ring announced in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium for the biggest party of the summer in SummerSlam! She gives insight on training with WWE ring announcers Mike Rome and Greg Hamilton. Additonally, she speaks about her beginnings as an interviewer in wrestling and how much of a connection she has gotten from her peers in training.
