With all the controversy surrounding the Transgender Military Ban, Kristin Beck defies the government’s claims.

While the Trump administration would have us believe transgender individuals are not stable enough to serve, Senior Chief Petty Officer Kristin Beck serves as proof that queer soldiers are just as much an asset as straight cisgender military personnel. For over 20 years she served as a U.S. Navy Seal before retiring and going to work for the Pentagon. During this time she was finally able to come out as a transgender woman. Since her coming out, Veteran Beck has advocated tirelessly for queer inclusion in the military. Join us as we discuss her past life and her current activism!
