Flourish and Inspire - Cara Graham

This episode I speak to Cara Graham. Cara is the WA State Chair of Association of Financial Advisers Inspire Community. Cara entered financial services when she was 17 and like many others, who started around her time, she just fell into the financial planning profession. Cara represents  a special segment of the profession that is not celebrated enough:the successful female business owner. To add to that, Cara is proudly from the LGBTQ+ community. She understands her privilege of having a supportive environment to grow up in and quick to point out that her experience is not representative of the community as a whole. She shares her unique work day experiences such as ‘coming out’ on a regular basis, for clients who assume she comes from the traditional family unit. Her ability to thrive in a safe place, has inspired others within the community to embrace who they are and flourish in their own uniqueness.
