Truth be told there are some great inspectors that work for the California DMV like Inspector Partoza or Inspector Macias. Even some of the management seems fairly "on-the-ball" but for the most part, DMV inspectors use their power in a very sinister way.
Their decisions and short-sidedness often results in the suspension of a car dealer auction license, whereby leaving the dealer unable to feed his/her family. Happens more to men, by the way...no wonder women live longer than men.
