Jason Inman makes his triumphant return to Your Biggest Fangirl this week! In case you missed our first interview with him Episode 25, Jason is a comic book creator, podcaster, and veteran who now adds author to his long list of accomplishments with the release of his first book: Super Soldiers: A Salute to the Comic Book Heroes and Villains Who Fought for Their Country. He takes us through his impetus for writing Super Soldiers, how he chose the 16 comic characters he examines in the book, and explores with us the military’s intricate relationship with the comic storytelling medium. Jason also reflects on his choice to infuse the book with his personal anecdotes serving in Iraq, particularly how rediscovering comics helped him during his deployment and how he now pays it forward with a comic book drive he created for those serving in the armed forces!
