Episode 35: Connecting with Captain Marvel with creator Ashley V Robinson

We are so thrilled to welcome Ashley Victoria Robinson back to Your Biggest Fangirl this week to jumpstart Marvelous March! If you didn’t hear her on Episode 14, Ashley is an actress, writer, podcaster and authority on everything girly and geeky. We had so much fangirling with her pre-Infinity War that we knew we had to bring Ashley back for our episode anticipating Captain Marvel! We discuss our hopes and fears for the Carol’s big screen debut, explore the dangers of comparing Captain Marvel to other female-led films like Wonder Woman, as well as highlight the importance of representation not only on screen but behind the camera too. Ashley also gives us three great Captain Marvel comic recommendations to binge-read before we see the movie this weekend and also shares a preview of her latest graphic novel project: Aurora and the Eagle - another awesome female superhero story!
