YEM Exclusive Interview | with Margaret Cho from Prom Pact

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with the Executive Producers and cast members of Prom Pact! We have Julie Bowen and Anya Adams, Margaret Cho as Ms. Chen, Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Mandy Yang, and Blake Draper as Graham Lansing! For those who need a refresher on the film: Mandy Coleman and Ben are surrounded by those who'd rather live in the moment, such as the upcoming prom and everyone sharing their '80s-inspired Promposals for everyone to see. But instead of that, Mandy has set her sight on something more ambitious: her admission to Harvard. But when her acceptance becomes delayed, and her only other option is getting a recommendation later, she banks on tutoring the all-star jock Graham Lansing and getting a recommendation letter from his father, a powerful senator, and Harvard alumnus. As Mandy's and Graham's bond becomes closer, Mandy begins to realize that there's more to ambition than just getting into Harvard and that there's more to Graham than what Mandy first thought.

We briefly speak to Margaret as a continuation of her motherly role, and ask if that extends to real life with the cast of Prom Pact. Margaret mentions that she doesn't think so, and talks about how people are smart and know what they're doing in the setting. She mentions that she's mostly learned from them, and mentions that this was the generation that grew up with technology at their fingertips and hopes to continue to learn from them.
