HSMTMTS Song Writers, Doug and Tova talk working with Olivia Rodrigo, Julia Lester and the rest of the cast in this Exclusive Interview | Young Entertainment Mag

YEM returns with an exclusive interview with Doug Rockwell and Tova Litvin, an Emmy-nominated songwriting/production team and married couple based in Los, Angeles, California. They have worked on many television shows and films including the popular Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The show, which ran for four seasons and starred Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett, was inspired by the High School Musical film series. Doug and Tova worked together to create the song “Born to Be Brave” on the show.

We asked Doug and Tova about working together as a songwriting team and married couple and they said it was a dream come true to do so as they both have mutual goals and a passion for what they do.
