Author Jeff Kinney on his Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas Special: Cabin Fever | Young Entertainment Exclusive

Young Entertainment returns with an exclusive interview with Jeff Kinney, the author of the iconic Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Based on the book by the same name, the seventh installment in the film series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever was recently released on Disney+. In the animated special, we get to experience the holiday season via our hero Greg Heffley whose dreams of a mellow winter vacation and a new gaming console for Christmas are put in jeopardy when he gets snowed in with his family. Kinney told us how he approached writing a holiday movie that stays through to Greg’s unique take on life and still feels right for the season. He also revealed that he is currently working on book 18 of the Wimpy Kid series and definitely wants to get all the way to 20.
