Levi Stahl is known primarily as a book person, through his prominent position at University of Chicago Press, his blog I’ve Been Reading Lately, but also for his Twitter feed (@levistal), where he primarily excerpts and comments on all things literary. As a special guest of YWIW, Levi explains to Wade and Siggy why “The secret theme of every ‘70s movie is the material shittiness of the ‘70s”, the concept is exemplified by 1976’s The Bad News Bears and 1978’s remake of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, with a long digression into 1977's Smokey and The Bandit.
