CW: Gun Violence in Chicago
It's another normal day in Chicago. Julie is working a rush at the grocery store. Cash continues with his karate lessons at his gym. Wes tracks down a lead for his job at the Chicago Tribune.
Episode Summary:
Stuck in the dream of the Cintemani Stone, Julie, Cash, and Wes live out their lives according to Wes' greatest desire: for life to be normal. However, strange occurrences interrupt their daily routines. Julie wakes up to Amber shaking her out of this illusion and showing that Wes has put all of Chicago in this dream. Cash awakens after encountering a Jeoseung Saja within his gym. Wes investigates a triple homicide and gets a heartfelt phone call from Micheal before Sara DiVerona appears in his fantasy to snap him out of it. Cash is the one to snap him out of it and the illusion is dissipated just in time for the Wild Hunt. Cash and Julie coordinate to save lives during the Hunt, while Wes leaves. As the sun rises - ending the hunt - the world is momentarily swallowed in darkness. We learn that there are strange black orbs that appear in the world. The players all cash out their growth points for upgrades and Cash and Julie receive strange items: Cash gets the Silver-Step shoes back and Julie gets the Focus-Fire scope back. Wes gets a visit from Jack who tells him that he's getting the Society back together.
