What is the Weakness Month continues with the 2016 instant classic Shin Godzilla. Directed by the legendary Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, this film goes back to basics and shows us what a natural disaster like Godzilla looks like when it strikes with such intensity only for the response to take forever to get going. The film continues the tradition of being inspired by devastating real-world events, but with the creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion at the helm, it also takes a deep inward look at the ugliest parts of ourselves too.
