Alex Sislov and Peter Findlay were jointly awarded the Greater Shepparton Male Volunteer of the Year Award.
Alex works for the Lighthouse Project and helps kids with life skills and Peter helps young people in the criminal justice system who have no one else to stand by them.
They only met through the volunteer awards, but they're finding they have a lot in common.
Terri spoke with them in September as part of her Shepplife One FM program.
