It was a snowy day here in the Queen City, podcast hill a formidable force of nature forced Matt and Mike to do our first remote episode. Much like the post office we are determined that nothing can keep us from delivering you a fresh episode each week.

As promised, MLB was top of our list this week, even while we watched it snow outside, we are dreaming of green baseball fields  the rapidly approaching date when pitchers and catchers report..  The reduction of minor league teams from 140-120 has two of our area minor league parks out of the running... we are all saddened by this news and are hopeful that something can be done.  The MLB made history finally recognizing the Negro League players as professional players and part of the MLB. Stats will be changed, and finally players will be given the long over due recognition for their great accomplishments.

NFL: The Washington Football team and the Baltimore Ravens played excellent games this past week, and for the first time in a while all three of our "local" teams are in contention to be in the playoffs.

Maryland Football- Had a banner day and have signed some excellent players for the 2021 season making the loss to Rutgers a little easier to take.

Matt celebrated a birthday on Monday, Mike does his best Marylin Monroe and we talk about how Jimmy's Famous Seafood helped Matt celebrate his birthday in style, even in a pandemic!!
