Previous Episode: Imperfectly Secure

Forget Perfect-Today’s episode title is taken straight from the pages of my Truth and Tools workbook. Inside today’s podcast I have with me, Sandi Rae. She is a pediatric occupational therapist, Parent Coach, a writer, and a big-time reader. Today she will share with us some of the ways that perfectionism has held her back from fulfilling the desires God has placed in her heart. She has shared with me that she wants to publish a book, start her own podcast and even go back to school. I so admire you being here today and my prayer is that within our discussion you might find some real practical tools to get you unstuck from your fear and fully living the purpose God has created you for.

For those of you brand new here today, perfectionism is a destructive habit that plays a negative role in our lives. Perfectionism holds us back and it forces us to live from a place of fear instead of love. Perfectionism lies to us by keeping us in the not enough zone because when you strive for the impossible goal of perfection you will always find yourself in the lack.
