Earlier this week, Mayor David Dinkins passed away at his home on the Upper East Side. Dinkins made history when he was inaugurated on January 1, 1990, as New York City’s first Black mayor. As New Yorkers remember Dinkins, we wanted to revisit our podcast special which originally aired in January:
