Last week, a horrific surprise attack on Israeli civilians by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas has now grown into a full-blown war. The conflict has gripped the United States, provoking intense and varied reactions from political leaders across the country. President Joe Biden has condemned the attacks, saying the United States stands firmly behind Israel. This comes after the White House saw a different kind of chaos when House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted by his own party in an unprecedented, historic event.
