Kevin Vickers is a Ryerson MBA graduate, new father, and long suffering Leaf fan, who works for Polar Sapphire Limited. Polar Sapphire is an innovative startup that makes high purity aluminum oxide for the industrial sapphire manufacturing industry. Since 2013 Kevin has helped Polar Sapphire take their unique patented process from the benchtop scale, to industrial pilot line, to the full scale manufacturing plant that is now under construction in Southern Ontario.
