In this episode, Rachel is back from Costa Rica and home to Aruba. Coming from a very vulnerable place, where she attended the burial of her best friend, she realized: we often act the way we think we should in front of others, instead of allowing ourselves the space to be vulnerable. Especially around our families and those that know us best, we see how we usually act reflected from them and act accordingly.
But there is something that pain, grief and trauma bring up that tears down all our walls of protection we build around ourselves. It is a terrible time in our lives, but using this as a catalyst to drop into radical vulnerability during normal day-to-day moments can be totally liberating. It will help you realize that life is short and there is no time to sit through anything that isn’t real.
Tune in for an episode that will help you find the sprinkles of gratitude among times of pain, sadness and loss and the practice of finding those places of vulnerability to return to again and again.
