Craig Patrick has been involved in Hockey his entire life. From his playing days in the 70’s, to his coaching days in the 80’s and most notably his role as the General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1989 through 2006.

Patrick supervised Mario Lemieux. He drafted Sidney Crosby and Marc-Andre Fleury. And orchestrated these last three decades of winning in the city of Pittsburgh. He arguably played the largest role in the Penguins 5 Stanley Cup Victories over the course of the last 30 years.

And we can’t forget that Patrick was the Assistant Coach to Herb Brooks on the 1980 USA Gold Medal Hockey team - which you may know as “Miracle on Ice.”

He also is the commissioner of the new 3-on-3 Hockey League, 3ICE - which is slated to get underway on June 18th.

He sat down with Mike Nicastro on the Yinzer Crazy Podcast as part of the Ken Wregget & Friends Show to discuss all of this in detail and more. Subscribe to Yinzer Crazy on YouTube for the live interview!2
