Welcome to the 69th episode of Yesterday's Capers. Every week, Abdullah Moallim will be reviewing and looking back at some of the most memorable and well known tv shows and cartoons from the past. Every week Abdullah and a contributor will compare two different shows, and put them head to head, as well as having an in-depth discussion about a specific show.

For the next month, we'll be taking a look at some of the best black cartoons and television shows, to commemorate Black History Month in the USA.

This week we’re focusing on different kinds of black families from this country and elsewhere as we talk all about the brilliant British classic The Desmond’s, South Central and All of Us.

Three different shows with three different families and each had its own unique style and story to tell. We talk episodes, moments and how the three shows differed from one another. We also celebrate the brilliance of the Desmond's and how they put Black Britain on the map. And we also talk about the Windrush Scandal that rocked the country a couple years ago
