This week i have a muse, a moment of reflection on the idea of use it or lose it and how as a sentence it's a very human phrase. We often feel like we're missing out in some way or that we're abandoning a practice but overall it's nonsense. It's our anxiety of facing challenge in something we knew we were previously good at.

I'm in the midst of Inktober and a couple other challenges i set myself as well as recovering from being ill and faced this idea many times. If I stop making will i never make again? Will I forget how to draw? how to cook? How to use stairs?

Who knows. What I do know is this phrase isn't used by hamsters.
