This week I sit down and talk through a podcast very much inspire by a one liner by Schaffer the darklord, nerd core staple that he is. Riffing on just why it is we tend to relate more to an act, why we relate to the exaggerated version of ourselves and others when we feel we do not fit.
It's a common theme in metal and rock music as well as being a current trend in tiktok and teen celebrities to take a singular character trait and blow it up but at what cost to them and to yourselves to we buy into that image?
It's something i'm always wary of, how i present myself and in doing so I explore the ideas of self image whilst getting a little muppety.
