Ura is a multidisciplinary artist, a proud member of the trans community, she was born and raised in the South West part of Montreal. Since her first steps, she always liked to express her complete self trough dancing to music. Her passion for sounds followed her everywhere, specially during her studies in visual arts. She was inspired by the underground queer nightlife parties and the love everyone shared in those spaces, therefore her DJ skills started and guided towards electronic music with a folkloric accent and an infinite curiosity for different sounds. During her sets, she usually
reaches for fast tempos of techno mixed with guaracha, drum and bass, acid, afro or any genres that are channeling the beauty of the queer’s.
