Robert Lauria is an inner city teacher from LA, he outgrew his hereditary hearing problem (he is no longer affected by hearing loss today), but faced a battle with labels and was put in a special education program when he was younger—Robert had the highest IQ in special education as of 1980. He’s now driven to motivate his students to succeed in life and chase their dreams, his youtube channel is called Reaching Dream Fulfillment. I saw Robert speak about his story with labels on Facebook, I was instantly motivated to learn more about Robert and how he got himself out of a rut!
