On Thursday’s (October 31) Happening in Homer segment, Vinnie Bellardini caught up with Mike Harter and Phil Stockton from the Village Streets & Parks Department, who discussed all the details on the upcoming Amnesty Day event this Saturday (November 9).
The village holds these events twice a year to allow residents the chance to dispose of certain large household items and yard waste material they’ve been having trouble getting rid of.
Harter and Stockton covered everything that will at won’t be accepted at Saturday’s collections, which takes place at the Village Compost Site on North Fulton Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
