Five years ago, Theresa and Corinna Williams left their well-paid jobs to open a laundromat in Brooklyn – together. It led them through endless bureau-crazy, construction sites, bursting water pipes, endless and even more endless hours of daunting work. But they did it.They opened Celsious, the first-ever sustainable laundromat in New York City, including a café and an open-air patio.

They built a sustainable brand around it and became the centerpiece of a thriving community, including their own parents who moved from Germany to New York to support them. They’re still open through the current pandemic, running their laundry as a no-contact business.

Corinna and Theresa sat down at Celsious a few months ago to share their experience on the #WunderbarTogether podcast. And just a few hours because this episode aired, Corinna shared how they’re doing now. Enjoy this XXL episode of Wunderbar Together!
