Ep27 - Nadia Morales, boxer

In episode 27, I interview Nadia "La Conchita" Morales, an amateur boxer out of California. We talk about her nickname being based off a Mexican pastry, as well as the importance of Mexican heritage in her boxing training. Nadia tells us about her start in boxing, as a woman in a male-centric sport. We talk about how the pandemic derailed her pro boxing debut and her hopes for the future.
