On January 31st, 1999, the World Wrestling Federation aired its first-ever Empty Arena Match between the Rock and Mankind for the WWF Championship. This was filmed in Tucson Arizona and aired at the Halftime of Super Bowl 33 between the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons which took place in Miami, Florida. Today we are going to tell you the story of how we got to this Empty Arena Match.
